1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to slamdunkzone.com — the website operated by the Slam Dunk Zone brand. It does not cover the underlying AccuViewTV streaming portal directly, although AccuViewTV processes member data on our behalf as part of fulfilling your membership.

2. What we collect

2.1 Information you give us directly

• Email address — collected on the /checkout/ form before payment. Used to issue your membership credentials and recover your account if needed.
• Payment data — handled entirely by PayPal. We never see your card number, billing address, or payment-method details. PayPal returns a transaction confirmation; that’s all that touches our servers.
• Support correspondence — if you contact us via email or the contact form, we retain that correspondence for service-quality and historical-context reasons.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

• Standard web analytics via Google Analytics or a similar tool: pages visited, referrer, browser type, broad geolocation (country/region, not street-level), session duration, and aggregate traffic patterns. Used to improve the site’s content and structure.
• Affiliate-attribution cookies via LeadDyno on the checkout flow. These cookies record that a referral occurred (which affiliate, which campaign) so the right contributor gets credit for the membership. They do not track you across other websites.
• Server logs — IP address, request URL, user-agent string. Standard hosting-level logs retained for security and abuse-detection purposes.

3. How we use your data

• To process your membership signup and deliver your credentials.
• To run analytics that help us improve the site’s content and SEO.
• To attribute affiliate referrals correctly so the right writer or partner gets paid.
• To respond to your support inquiries.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and credential resale.

4. Who we share your data with

• AccuViewTV — the streaming portal that fulfills your membership. They receive your email and the fact of your subscription so they can issue credentials and provide support. AccuViewTV’s privacy practices are governed by their own customer agreement.
• PayPal — handles all payment processing. PayPal’s privacy policy applies to their handling of your payment data.
• LeadDyno — runs the affiliate-attribution layer on the checkout flow. They record affiliate-related metadata only.
• Analytics providers (Google Analytics or similar) — receive de-identified, aggregated browsing data per their standard data-processing terms.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — Cloudflare and our WordPress host receive standard request data as part of operating the website.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third-party marketers, advertisers, or data brokers.

5. Cookies

This site uses cookies for three purposes: (1) standard analytics; (2) affiliate-attribution on the checkout flow; (3) functional cookies that remember non-sensitive preferences (such as if you’ve dismissed a notification banner). You can disable cookies in your browser at any time; doing so may break the affiliate-attribution layer (which means a referral wouldn’t be credited if you signed up via a referral link).

6. Data retention

• Email and account data: retained for the duration of your membership plus 24 months after cancellation, then deleted (or anonymized in aggregate analytics).
• Support correspondence: retained for 36 months for quality and dispute resolution.
• Server logs: retained for 90 days unless flagged for an active security investigation.
• Analytics data: aggregated and de-identified after 26 months per Google Analytics’ standard retention.

7. Your rights

Regardless of jurisdiction, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct any inaccuracies in that data.
• Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”) by emailing the request from the email address associated with your account.
• Object to certain types of processing, including marketing analytics.
• Port your data to another provider on request, in a standard machine-readable format.

If you live in the EU/UK (GDPR), California (CCPA), or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, those rights apply in full. To exercise any of them, email us from your account email; we’ll respond within 30 days.

8. Children

The membership is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data through this site, contact us and we’ll delete it.

9. Security

We use HTTPS across the entire site, encrypt sensitive data in transit, and rely on PayPal for payment processing (so we never store card data). AccuViewTV maintains its own security standards for credential issuance and storage. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours of confirmation per applicable breach-notification laws.

10. International transfers

If you are subscribing from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US (where our hosting infrastructure and AccuViewTV’s portal operate). By subscribing, you consent to that transfer. Where required by law, we use standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a refreshed “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, communicated to active members by email.
