Why 2026 is the biggest year in USMNT history

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico — the first 48-team World Cup ever. As host, the USA auto-qualifies and skips the CONCACAF qualifying gauntlet. The 2026 USMNT calendar

Typical structure of a USMNT World Cup year (exact match days are confirmed by US Soccer rolling on a 2-3 month forward schedule):

Where every USMNT match airs in the US
