Basketball schedule + viewing guide
When's the next basketball game?
NBA tips off nightly October–June. NCAA runs November–April. WNBA: May–October. Slam Dunk Zone covers all three in HD for $39.95/mo across one membership.
TL;DR: Basketball runs almost year-round across the NBA (Oct–Jun), NCAA (Nov–Apr), and WNBA (May–Oct). The NBA airs nightly on ESPN, TNT, ABC, NBA TV, and regional sports networks. NCAA splits across ESPN, CBS, FOX, ACC Network, Big Ten Network. WNBA airs on ESPN, ABC, CBS, and NBA TV. Slam Dunk Zone delivers all of them for $39.95/mo — no cable, no contract. Slam Dunk Now.
Tonight’s basketball: where to look
NBA.com’s schedule grid lists every league game with broadcaster. NCAA games show on ESPN.com’s college basketball schedule (filter by tonight). WNBA games are listed on WNBA.com.
The broadcaster column is the only thing you actually need. Once you know tonight’s game is on, say, TNT, you go to TNT in your channel guide. SDZ’s guide groups the basketball broadcasters together so you don’t scroll past cooking shows to find ESPN.
Season-by-season basketball calendar
NBA: regular season tips off late October, runs through April; playoffs April–June; NBA Finals June. NCAA: November–March regular season, March Madness late March, Final Four early April. WNBA: mid-May through early October, playoffs October. Euroleague + international: October–May.
That’s 9–10 months of nightly basketball every year. SDZ’s month-to-month membership lets you scale the spend with the calendar — pay during NBA Finals + March Madness window, cancel for the summer if WNBA isn’t your thing.
What you get for $39.95
Slam Dunk Zone delivers the same broadcaster feeds you get on cable — ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, TBS, ABC, NBA TV, the regional sports networks for every market — for $39.95/mo. No 12-month contract, no $99 install fee, no $30/mo DVR rental, no $150 cable bill at the end of the month. Six simultaneous device streams mean dad watches the Lakers in the living room while the kids watch a different game in the bedroom and you check the Knicks score on your phone in the kitchen — one membership, three rooms, zero arguments.
The lineup is over 5,000 HD channels: every major U.S. broadcaster, premium movie networks, international sports, news in eight languages, and a 7-day catch-up window if you missed tip-off. AccuViewTV has been doing IPTV since 2018; the infrastructure is mature and the support team answers in chat in under 90 seconds.
