Refund Policy
Honest, plain-language refund terms. Refunds are governed by AccuViewTV’s underlying customer agreement; this page summarizes how that policy applies to Slam Dunk Zone members and how to request one.
TL;DR: The membership is month-to-month, no contract. Cancel any time and the next month doesn’t charge. Refund eligibility on the most recent charge depends on AccuViewTV’s underlying refund terms — typically a documented window after first signup if the service genuinely cannot be made to work on your setup. Established members on month-N billing are not eligible for retroactive refunds for months already streamed. Email AccuViewTV support to request a refund.
1. The cancel-anytime baseline
The Slam Dunk Zone membership runs month-to-month with no minimum contract. To stop being charged, log into your member dashboard and click Membership → Manage Subscription → Cancel. The current billing cycle finishes (you keep streaming through the end of your paid month) and the next cycle does not charge. There is no cancellation fee, no equipment to return, and no exit interview.
This is the simplest and most reliable way to “get a refund”: cancel before the next charge so you never paid for a month you don’t want.
2. First-month / first-charge refunds
For new members who genuinely cannot make the service work on their setup — failed playback after multiple support attempts, a setup environment that’s incompatible with the player apps, or an undisclosed technical limitation that prevents streaming — AccuViewTV will consider a refund of the first month’s charge within a documented window after signup. The exact window and conditions are set by AccuViewTV’s customer agreement.
To request a first-month refund:
- Email AccuViewTV support with the subject line “Refund request” and your account email.
- Briefly describe the issue (one sentence is fine: “credentials work but every channel buffers on my Firestick despite 100 Mbps connection”).
- Confirm you’ve tried the standard troubleshooting (network speed test, alternative player app, restart) so support can rule out the easy fixes.
Support will respond within 8 hours (typically much faster) with either a fix or a refund decision. They prefer to fix the underlying issue first, because the membership is genuinely valuable when it works — most “refund-bound” inquiries are resolved with a 5-minute setup adjustment.
3. Established-member refunds
If you’ve been a member for multiple months, the membership has clearly been working for your setup, and we don’t issue retroactive refunds for months already streamed. If you decide the service is no longer right for you, the cancel-anytime path is the route — cancel from your dashboard before the next charge, and you simply stop paying going forward.
4. Disputed charges and chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback through PayPal or your card issuer, please email AccuViewTV support and give them a chance to resolve the issue. The support team has documented response windows (under 8 hours for email, including weekends and holidays) and can usually resolve billing disputes faster and with less friction than a chargeback. Chargebacks initiated without a prior support ticket are treated as a violation of the terms; the account is terminated and the chargeback contested.
5. What’s not refundable
- Months already streamed. If you used the service for the full month, that month is paid for, even if you decide afterward that you don’t want to continue.
- Hardware you bought separately (Firestick, Apple TV, etc.) — those are returned to the retailer they were bought from, per their return policy.
- VPN or other third-party services you may have subscribed to alongside the membership — those are governed by their own refund policies.
- Refunds outside the documented first-month window for reasons unrelated to service functionality (changed mind, found a different service, household budget changes). For these cases, the cancel-anytime path is the right route.
- Refunds tied to credential abuse, terms violations, or fraudulent payment. Accounts terminated for cause are not refunded.
6. Chargeback policy
If you initiate a chargeback through PayPal or your card issuer without prior contact with support, AccuViewTV will: (a) immediately suspend the associated credentials; (b) contest the chargeback with documentation of service delivery; (c) ban the associated email and payment method from re-subscribing. We don’t take chargebacks lightly because they cost the operator real money in fees regardless of outcome. The right path is always to email support first.
7. How long refunds take to process
Once a refund is approved, PayPal typically processes it within 1–3 business days. The funds appear on the original payment method. If you don’t see the refund within 5 business days of approval, email support with the PayPal transaction ID and they’ll trace it.
8. Trial periods
Slam Dunk Zone does not offer a free trial. Pricing is $39.95/mo from the first charge. The cancel-anytime, first-month-refund-on-genuine-issue policy is the equivalent of a low-risk trial — if it works for you, you keep going; if it doesn’t, the refund window covers you.
9. Contact
For refund requests, email AccuViewTV support directly through your member dashboard or the address in your welcome email. Slam Dunk Zone (the brand) does not process refunds — every refund routes through AccuViewTV, which has the access required to issue them.
10. Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated as AccuViewTV revises the underlying customer-agreement refund terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date and communicated to active members by email where appropriate.
